We're looking for Sex Workers
Sex workers have always played an important role in the Queer movement. The Stonewall Riots were a significant historical moment where BIPOC sex workers alongside trans women, and other LGBTQIAP+ communities tried to break together the shackles of the police, injustice, and inequality.
During Queer Amsterdam 2024, we are opening up space for sex workers to fill in themselves with the first Queer & Trans Sex Workers Festival. We intend for the festival to be a stage for Queer & Trans sex workers to be visible and keep writing a history of resistance.
